CLASS OFFERINGS

VARIETY OF YOGA

Flow between postures with intentional breath to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness. The benefits of yoga are rooted in tradition and supported by science. Yoga is an exercise practice performed on a yoga mat, and props may include blocks, straps, and a yoga blanket. At The Wellness Vault, we offer a variety of yoga classes with a range of intensity including:

HOT YOGA WILL BE ADDED TO OUR SERVICES AT THE WELLNESS VAULT IN THE FUTURE, STAY TUNED!

Align Yoga combines asanas (poses) and pranayama (breath) to build strength, stamina, and flexibility. Inspired by Iyengar which is a form of Hatha yoga, focuses on proper alignment and precise technique. Through slower movements and an emphasis on quality over quantity. This class is perfect for yogi's wanting to build confidence in their yoga poses.

BARRE

Inspired by Ballet and Physical Therapy, Barre is a low-impact workout focused on strength. You’ll use your body weight, hand weights, light props, and of course THE BARRE to target muscles in your arms, legs, booty, abs, chest, and back. While the movements may be small, the effect is almost immediate. This method works up a sweat, builds muscle, strengthens joints, and improves flexibility and balance!

FULL BODY STRENGTH TRAINING

This HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) style class is composed of exercises that focus on cardio and strength. It incorporates several rounds that alternate between high-intensity moves and rest. Bootcamp uses a variety of equipment such as dumbbells, kettlebells, and resistance bands.

INFERNO MAT PILATES

A low-impact workout that uses specific exercises to strengthen and stretch the body, paired with focused breaths to emphasize having control over each movement. Pilates primarily relies on the body for resistance. Your pilates instructor may provide options to use bands, exercise balls, and small weights to enhance your pilates experience.

MAT PILATES w/ WEIGHTS & BANDS

Pilates focuses on improving flexibility, strength, and body awareness through controlled movements. Mat Pilates uses your body and at times, bands, and weights for resistance. In this class you will hold movements like planks, side planks, and core exercises to build your muscle groups and core strength.
**Although not required, students can find it beneficial to participate in this class with a thicker mat as there is a significant amount of back work**

Young Dance Students

YOUTH YOGA: Not offering Fall 2023

This class welcomes ages 5-11. Come stretch, breathe, play and relax in this fun-filled yoga class! Students will learn several yoga poses to build strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance, learn breathing techniques, awareness, and ways to focus. Students will also learn concepts to help relieve stress and anxiety, practice mindfulness to learn to be in the
present, and learn ways to calm their minds to move towards relaxation. 

*Youth yoga is offered at the same time as adult fitness classes to increase accessibility for parents. Our yogis who are 12+ are also allowed to join adult classes with parental supervision!

TODDLER BALLET

The perfect playful introduction to Ballet for your toddlers. Designed for ages 2.5-5. This class uses dance, props, and creativity to engage your child's imagination! Bring them in for a class fill with joyful movement and fun! This class is offered at the same time as an adult class, to increase accessibility to fitness for parents.

 

*Toddler Ballet is offered at the same time as adult fitness classes to increase accessibility for parents. 

Zumbini is a program designed for children ages 0 - 4 and their caregivers; mommy's, daddy's, grandma's or grandpa's, nannies, etc. This program is intended to drive cognitive, social, motor, and behavioral development for your child, all while creating the ultimate bonding experience for the two of you! Zumbini combines music, dance and educational tools for 30 minutes of can't-stop won't-stop bonding and fun. Tap your toes, sing-along and get lost in the only program to combine early-childhood development with the magical joy of Zumba Fitness. Our doors open 15 minutes before class and you can hang out for 15 minutes after allowing caregivers and littles to mingle.
